'Twelve' is the latest project of Dutch photographer Alex ten Napel.
He photographed children at the age of 12, in The Netherlands usually the age that they are in their last year of primary school. But these are not just portraits of children. He also asked them to fill in a questionnaire about what they would do when they would be Prime Minister of The Netherlands and what they would do if they were President of The United States and had children of their own.
Alex started with schools in The Netherlands, but he's going to expand all through Europe. That's how 'Twelve' becomes a portrait of a new generation …
